Team FARA members are running, walking, biking and swimming for FA research around the world. While they are geographically dispersed, Team FARA is united with the same goal: to draw attention to FA through acts of physical endurance and to support the advancement of FA research towards treatments and a cure for FA.
I was needing to get my TEAM FARA RAAM fix and check in on the team and while clicking around I went to the RAAM website and found their blog and Team FARA already makes an appearance on their 6/13 post
"All teams made it through the first night of riding but not without some challenges. One racer from Team FARA is walking back to their RV appears to be in great spirits and smiling. “How are you doing?” someone asked. “Not good.” You wouldn’t know it by looking at him. “Saddle sores”, he replies. Ouch."
Rest that saddle and get some extra padded shorts!
Good luck today as you all climb to Flagstaff! Keep the crank going!
Mon, Dad and I are planning to meet up with the Team Fara EARLY Wednesday Morning, we are following their progress on both RAAM's sight and 'Life tracking', but the projected times of the Time stations are ...eastern-central-Mountain-local-???? I'm a bit confused ;)
